FIONA PAYNE APPOINTED TO BOARD OF THE STAN PERRON CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

The Stan Perron Charitable Foundation has announced the appointment to its Board of respected community services professional, Fiona Payne.

Chair of the Foundation, Elizabeth Perron said Ms Payne was considered an ideal candidate due to her depth of knowledge and experience in several key areas critical to supporting the Board's philanthropic objectives.

"Fiona originally trained as a physiotherapist working with sick and disabled children in hospitals and community-based organisations," said Elizabeth.

"Since that time, she has served in multiple roles as an executive and board member notably in the not-for-profit community sector.

"Each year the Foundation receives hundreds of requests for financial assistance from community groups seeking to improve the well-being of Western Australians.

"Fiona's appointment was very much driven by the recognition that the collective knowledge of the Board would be enhanced to ensure the funding we provide for community services is well targeted and achieves the best possible outcomes."

The Board of the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation currently consists of Elizabeth Perron (Chair), Ross Ledger AM, Steven Carulli, Professor Gervase Chaney and the Managing Director and CEO of Perron Group, Ross Robertson.
